      Key Spec Table

      Empirical Formula
      C₁₂₆H₂₂₁N₅₁O₃₂S₂·11TFA·7H2O
      Description
OverviewA cell-permeable synthetic peptide derived from the proline-rich region near the N-terminal of p21 activated kinase1 (PAK1) and fused with HIV TAT. Shown to selectively binds to the non-catalytic region of tyrosine kinase adaptor protein (NCK) and disrupts the cellular transport and localization of PAK. Shown to specifically inhibit endothelial cell migration and contractility (IC50 = 2 µM) and block bFGF-induced angiogenesis in a chick chorioallantoic membrane (CAM) assay. Does not exhibit any deleterious effects on endothelial cell survival and growth.

Please note that the molecular weight for this compound is batch-specific due to variable water content. Please refer to the vial label or the certificate of analysis for the batch-specific molecular weight. The molecular weight provided represents the baseline molecular weight without water.
