Recombinant, human VEGF121 (121-amino acid splice variant of the human vascular endothelial growth factor VEGF) expressed in S. frugiperda insect cells. VEGF121 is dominantly expressed in most tumor cell lines. Forms a biologically active homodimer and evidence suggests that it is also biologically active as a heterodimer with other VEGF splice variants or PIGF.
