      Description
OverviewFull length, recombinant, human histone deacetylase 8 (HDAC8) fused to at the C-terminus to a His•Tag® sequence at and expressed in S. frugiperda insect cells using a baculovirus expression system. HDAC8 phosphorylated in vivo by PKA results in decreased activity, which leads to the hyperacetylation of histones H3 and H4. HDAC8 may play a role in one of the most frequent types of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The active deacetylase is useful in the study of HDAC8 regulation and for inhibitor screening.
