      A cell-permeable isoxazolyl-benzenesulfonamide compound that acts as a potent and highly selective inhibitor of COX-2 both in vitro (IC50 = 4 nM for hCOX-2 vs. 114 µM for hCOX-1) and in vivo. Has been used extensively in various animal models to study the role of COX-2 in wound healing process.
