      DescriptionA cell-permeable potent, selective inhibitor of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) (IC50 = 650 nM, human monocytes COX-2). Shown to specifically inhibit COX-2 in human whole blood (IC50 = 4.3 µM). Displays only weak inhibitory activity against COX-1 from human platelets (19% inhibition at 10 µM) and in whole blood (25% inhibition at 100 µM).
